Robert Pattinson thinks 'Twilight Saga' proved women go to the cinema.

The actor - who plays lead character Edward Cullen in the vampire franchise - believes Hollywood have learned to consider more stories thanks to the success of the series, which has so far taken $1.8 billion at the cinema.

He said: "It made people in the industry aware that women, just solely women, are a legitimate audience for movies, which is, in a strange sort of way, good for guys as well.

"I think the industry got convinced that the only people that would go to the cinema were teenage boys."

The British hunk has also revealed he would like to write a film at some point in the future, or edit one that is not looking so good.

He told TNT Magazine: "I'd like to write stuff. I'd really like to be a script doctor, just figuring out how to make a script that doesn't work, work!"

Kellan Lutz says Danny Guez is a "true genius".

The 'Twilight' star recently launched his menswear collection Abbot + Main with the designer and says his completely in awe of Danny's talents.

He said: "I have always loved fashion, but I have no expertise in it besides being a model.

I'm learning from a high caliber, true genius. I didn't want to be the face of some product I wouldn't actually wear. If we were going to do this, I wanted to learn everything that Danny had to teach. Even if it failed, I'd still have something that I'd wear!"

The heartthrob - who is also the face of the brand - has previously said of working on the range: "How cool will that be to create my own line? I grew up wanting to be an inventor. I went to school for chemical engineering. I love to create. I've always wanted to get into fashion. I've always liked drawing, not Space Age stuff but high fashion. I don't like to be loud. I like fitting in and not drawing attention. Simplicity is key."

Kasabian star Tom Meighan thinks the best way for him to die would be on a rollercoaster.

Kasabian singer Tom Meighan wants to die by falling off a rollercoaster.

The 'Days Are Forgotten' singer is aware most rock stars die young and often in bizarre circumstances and, if he could choose, thinks losing your life in the fairground is the best way to go.

He said: "I can imagine me going on a fairground ride and coming off a roller coaster. It would be a pretty good way to go, your adrenalin is going and the next thing you know it's all over. That'd be the way to go."

His bandmate, Serge Pizzorno, said he'd also choose a bizarre, but more domestic way to go.

He said: "I want to do something daft, like a toaster in the bath, or a knife in the toaster sort of thing."

Tom added: "Or a heart attack in the cinema. No-one would notice, because they'd be laughing and eating popcorn. Unbelievable."

Serge admitted he sometimes has murderous thoughts toward Tom, because he never stops whistling.

He added to NME magazine: "It's like a disease. He whistles anything: tunes, bird noises. You just want to take a hand grenade to the head sometimes."

Kelly Rowland doesn't think Michelle Williams gets the "credit she deserves".

The 'Motivation' hitmaker was in Destiny's Child with Michelle and Beyonce Knowles, and she admits people rarely acknowledge how hard it must have been for her to join the group - after two original members left - in 2000.

She said: "You know, I completely salute Michelle for joining. She came onto a moving train that was going 1,000 miles per hour. Nobody every gives her the credit she deserves."

While many girl groups have been the focus of rumours about cat-fights in the past, Kelly says Destiny's Child were never like that, and she continues to be close with her former bandmates.

She told Stylist magazine: "Listen, you can't preach about having female power, supporting each other and being a unit, if you're not one. I remember one of the first solo projects Beyonce did, I was sitting there the whole video shoot supporting her.

"To this day, I could wake up one morning and there's this long text message from Bey or Michelle."

Kristin Cavallari Dismisses Disick Affair Report

Reality TV star-turned-fashion icon Kristin Cavallari has dismissed reports suggesting she had an affair with Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick.

The scandalous story makes the cover of the new issue of Life & Style magazine in America - but Cavallari has been quick to play down the report, insisting it's "100 per cent not true".

And she blames the Kardashians for not denying the report when the family was first approached by Life & Style reporters.

She tells Access Hollywood, "I just think, what convenient timing for them with their (TV) show premiering next week and with everything that's going on for Kim (Kardashian), I feel like they're trying to take the heat off her.

"When there's a big story like that, they always call you and ask if you want to comment and clearly none of them denied it, so it's very... it's really disrespectful to me.

"I'm in a committed relationship. It's disrespectful to me and (boyfriend) Jay (Cutler) and I think it just says a lot about their character."

A source close to the Kardashians has called Cavallari's suggestions "absurd" and the publication's editors are standing by the story.

For the record, the alleged romance between Cavallari and Disick, who is the father of Kourtney Kardashian's son Mason, began in Las Vegas in 2009.

Dylan Mcdermott: 'Genius Ryan Murphy Is Like Warhol'

Actor Dylan Mcdermott has hailed TV writer/producer Ryan Murphy a "genius", likening him to iconic pop artist Andy Warhol.

MCDermott has been working closely with Murphy on new series American Horror Story and he insists the Glee creator is one step ahead of his competitors when it comes to bringing a story to life on the small screen.

He tells Advocate.com, "I believe that Ryan Murphy is a genius. His instincts remind me of Andy Warhol. I recently went to the Warhol museum in Pittsburgh, and you can see a lot of echoes of Andy in Ryan's work. Like Andy, Ryan's finger is so on the pulse of culture that he's ahead of culture. Their aesthetic and their vision of the world are very similar."

And MCDermott is glad to have landed the lead role on the horror drama because he enjoys pushing boundaries with risk-taker Murphy.

He says, "Ryan is also so unafraid. Most people in show business are so afraid to fail that they don't take any risks, but all Ryan does is take risks. He puts himself out there all the time, and it's his bravery that really separates him from everybody else."

Kelly Clarkson frightens off men with her songs.

The 'Beautiful Disaster' hitmaker believes her potential boyfriends are "scared as hell" she will write a track about them, but insists her music tends to be more about her working environment rather than who she is dating.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "If you've got any record of mine then I think they're a little scary for men. Sometimes they're about relationships with guys, but it's more about my work environment. I just write metaphorically speaking as if I'm in a relationship with a guy. I'd be scared as hell to date me. I'd be like, 'I don't want a song written about me'."

The 29-year-old beauty would like to find a man who is confident around her when she eventually settles down because she thinks guys find her "really intimidating".

The 'Mr. Know It All' singer added: "I never know when people like me, I always find out way later. I think people are really intimidated by me, which I find really weird because I feel like I'm pretty down to earth and inviting. But apparently that's not the case.

"My brother says I'm really intimidating to guys, but I don't mean to be. So I need a guy who can handle that. I'm like so chilled. It's funny because all the guys that are super confident with me are like giant tools. And all the guys that you want to be confident are insecure around me and they're the ones you want to ask out.

"I'm not looking for a guy at the moment because I'm in a different country every day. There's no pressure to find anybody."

Kelly's latest album 'Stronger' is out now.

Pop superstar Shakira has met with youngsters in India to highlight the importance of education in the country.

The Hips Don't Lie hitmaker serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for Unicef and she flew out to the nation earlier this month (Nov11) to push for better schooling facilities for young women.

Shakira visited a group of adolescent females in a residential education program in Udaipur, Rajasthan, where the literacy level is around five per cent for women, and the singer hopes her trip will highlight the need for improved learning.

She says, "My interaction with these adolescent girls was energising and inspiring. It only reminded me, once again, that girls are a precious resource of intellectual and physical ability - a resource that can help to further society. They need the chance to be educated and empowered.

"For too many girls, the basic human right to education is denied. Yet, educating adolescent girls and ensuring their participation in decision-making that affects them plays a significant role in enhancing their sense of self-worth."

Keith Duffy Turned To Therapy To Cope With Gately Grief

Irish singer Keith Duffy sought counselling earlier this year (11) after "drinking and partying quite a lot" as he attempted to cope with the death of his Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gately.

The group was left devastated in 2009 when the 33-year-old singer was found dead at the home he shared with his partner Andrew Cowles in Majorca, Spain.

They hit the road for the first-time as a four-piece in February (11), and Duffy admits the emotional shows were "tough".

Duffy and his bandmates partied hard when the tour wrapped, but the singer's loved ones were concerned about the star and urged him to seek help.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "After the tour finished in March the grief took its toll on me. I lost my way a little bit. By the end of the tour we were drinking and partying quite a lot, which wasn't helping the professionalism of the band. We put that down to not dealing with the loss of Stephen. When I got back home I wasn't my usual happy self - I didn't know what was going on.

"So at the request of the people who care about me and love me, I agreed to go for a chat with someone. I went to see a bereavement counsellor. It was something I never saw myself doing. I thought my own brain power could overcome any emotions or insecurities and that I'd had enough life experiences to sort my own head out."

However, Duffy is pleased he shared his problems with a professional: "I found it fantastic. I went three or four times and it helped me immensely. It changed my whole vision of what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go."

Teen star Miranda Cosgrove refuses to dwell on her tour bus crash in August (11), insisting the accident changed her life "in a lot of good ways".

The iCarly singer/actress broke her ankle and was forced to cancel her Dancing Crazy Tour after the vehicle she was travelling in collided with a tractor in Illinois.

She subsequently underwent an operation on her leg and had regular sessions with a physiotherapist to aid her recovery.

Last month (Oct11), the 18 year old walked unaided for the first time since the accident, and Cosgrove is now feeling positive about the future.

She tells America's Girl's Life magazine, "When anybody goes through something hard like that, it does something to them. Even though it was a bad accident, it changed me in a lot of good ways.

"One of the first things I thought after surgery was, 'Oh my gosh, driving isn't going to be as fun now.' But I'm over it and can't wait!"

Lady Gaga avoids stopping for toilet breaks during her shows by relieving herself in trash cans backstage.

The Poker Face hitmaker admits her eccentric outfits make visiting the bathroom tricky, so she takes alternative measures wherever possible.

She tells U.K. talk show host Alan Carr, "I do quite often pee in the dressing room, in the trash can. It would have been an interesting photo today because I had a big pink bow on, and I was over the trash can...

"The bathroom is down the hall. And I was naked. It was just me, my bow and my nakedness. Me and my dustbin have a very important relationship."

The full interview with Lady Gaga will air on Britain's Alan Carr: Chatty Man on Sunday (20Nov11).
