Blondie star Deborah Harry stunned a star-studded crowd at the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday (13Nov11) by carving herself up.

The Call Me singer took a cleaver to a life-size red velvet cake corpse of herself at the event, joking, "I haven't eaten a piece of myself yet."

Stars like Nicole Richie and Gwen Stefani then watched perplexed as Harry was carried around the museum in a body bag as a bevvy of topless male models continued to cut up the singer's cake double.

The bizarre proceedings were all part of the launch party for Marina Abramovic's new show.
