British pop star Frankie Sandford is easing herself back into her work commitments with The Saturdays following a stint in a clinic - her doctor will only allow her to attend rehearsals for the band's upcoming tour.

The singer was admitted to a facility for help with undisclosed issues last month (Oct11), and following her release, Sandford thanked fans for their support and revealed she was looking forward to rejoining her bandmates.

However, Sandford has been notably absent from the group's TV appearances this week (begs14Nov11), and it has now been revealed she is only permitted to participate in rehearsals for their U.K. tour, which kicks off in Bournemouth, south England on 2 December (11).

A representative for the band tells Britain's Daily Mail Online, "Frankie is still ill and she's taking her time to recover. Under doctor's orders she is only permitted to attend tour rehearsals.

"She's easing herself back in to things with the group but will be appearing on the tour."
