Howard Stern Would Be 'Honoured' To Judge Talent
Howard Stern refused to confirm whether he is in negotiations to judge 'America's Got Talent' but says he would be ''honoured'' to work on the show.
Howard Stern would be "honoured" to judge 'America's Got Talent'.
The controversial DJ has been linked with a seat on the panel of the programme following the departure of Piers Morgan and he would be delighted to join the show.
Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show, he said: "Everyone knows I love 'America's Got Talent'. I think it's the greatest and I would be certainly honoured to sit with Howie [Mandel] and Sharon [Osbourne] and judge these lunatics.
"I take show business very seriously. If I was a judge on there, there would be no nonsense whatsoever. I would be there for the talent. I would be there to actually find somebody good."
Despite recent claims he is in "serious negotiations" for a $15 million contract to join the programme, Howard refused to confirm whether or not he has begun talks with network NBC.
He said only: "I am not the next judge. I have no deal with 'America's Got Talent'. I'm not going to comment if I'm in negotiations. I don't comment on negotiations."
Show supremo Simon Cowell has already backed Howard to take the vacant judge's chair.
He said: "Every show, as it goes along, has got to evolve. Howard brings a kind of chaos to everything. But I like chaos."
