Katy Perry's 'Part of Me' Movie Will Show Her Divorce

Katy Perry's upcoming 3-D concert movie isn't all cupcake bras and Smurf wigs: It shows the singer enduring some trying times, namely her divorce from British comedian Russell Brand. Also, MediaTakeOut has invented a hilarious story about a Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez-Rihanna love triangle, Chris Brown has responded to his many critics, Justin Bieber has unveiled the track listing for Believe, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the Austin City Limits music festival in October.

• When Russell Brand announced he was filing for divorce from his pop singer wife Katy Perry, the cartoonish superstar stayed out of the spotlight for weeks, maintaining an impressively low profile as the public became more interested in her personal life than ever before.

Though Perry was unwilling to discuss the split at the time, she's now prepared to open up about her personal life in both song and film. This month Perry released a new single, "Wide Awake," with lyrics about a relationship gone wrong: "I was in the dark, I was falling hard with an open heart / How did I read the stars so wrong, I was dreaming for so long." She also confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres that her new concert flick, Katy Perry: Part of Me, would show the singer during the split.

"I thought it was important to show everything in between," the singer explained. "I think sometimes people think that we're perfect, and we know we're not perfect at all."

"I think it's important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dreams you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that's why I decided to put everything into the film. In the most tasteful way."

Perry has been linked to male model Baptiste Giabiconi and musician Robert Ackroyd since her split from Brand in December 2011.

• Perry's lyric video for "Wide Awake" takes an interesting Facebook timeline format that juxtaposes lines about love lost against the singer's many professional accomplishments. Interesting statement—we can't wait for the actual clip.

Chris Brown and Justin Bieber: Bros for life. (via Instagram)
• According to MediaTakeOut, Selena Gomez has dumped Justin Bieber because he's been two-timing her with Rihanna, and Chris Brown blasted Rihanna in his "Theraflu" remix because he found out and was jealous.

This story is all kinds of HAHAHAHAHAHA, especially given that the extremely flimsy "evidence" presented is erroneous—Selena is still following Justin on Twitter, contrary to their report. Also, Justin had dinner with Chris Brown last night. They both made stupid faces.

• Justin Bieber's track listing is out and it's mostly about girls and love and kissing and stuff.

"All Around the World" (featuring Ludacris)
"Boyfriend"
"As Long As You Love Me" (featuring Big Sean)
"Take You"
"Right Here" (featuring Drake)
"Catching Feelings"
"Fall"
"Die In Your Arms"
"Thought Of You"
"Beauty and a Beat" (featuring Nicki Minaj)
"One Love"
"Be Alright"
"Believe"
"Out of Town Girl"
"She Don't Like the Lights"
"Maria"

• Chris Brown responded to criticisms of his blatant lip-syncing at the Billboard Music Awards with the tweet, "Anyone who is upset obviously is upset with their lives... Make your music...make a difference.. Be better than me! Godbless!"

Funny how Brown is the pop star who probably gets upset most frequently.

• R&B singer Ray J was hospitalized for "exhaustion and jet lag" in Las Vegas on Monday. Funny, I don't know anyone whose jet lag was so bad it required a doctor's care...

• Austin City Limits is going to be a blast this October 12-14th, as the headliners include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, the Black Keys and Jack White. Also performing: Weezer, Florence and the Machine, the Avett Brothers, Gotye, Iggy and the Stooges, the Roots, Avicii, the Shins, the Civil Wars, Gary Clark Jr., M83, and many, many more.
