If you grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, you'll remember Doc Martens—those mid-century-old British-made clompers that graced the wardrobes of everyone, from the preppiest (or punk-iest) high school student to Sinead O'Connor. One of the hallmarks of Docs of the 90s was that they could be worn with nearly any outfit—from the grungiest grungy plaid to the preppiest khaki to the cutest, girliest babydoll dress.
