Transforming his exterior for his latest project, Hugh Jackman emerged from his hair and make-up trailer sporting a scruffy look while on-set of "The Wolverine" in Sydney, Australia on Friday (August 3).

Bundled up for the cool weather, the "Real Steel" stud took a moment to greet fans and hand out some scratch off lottery tickets to crew members before trading his long blue and white jacket for his costume made up of dirty jeans and a brown wooly coat.

Getting into his mean-muggin' Wolverine character, Hugh could be seen making his way down a snowy street for one of the scenes that will be featured in the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" sequel, where he is said to tra vel to Japan to train with a samurai warrior.

The John Mangold action flick is slated to hit theaters on July 26, 2013.
