Preparations are underway for the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. With Jimmy Kimmel hosting, the program will air live on ABC on Sunday, September 23rd.

A fresh batch of presenters for the awards was announced today (September 11). The list includes comedic actors Louis C.K., Mindy Kaling, Amy Poehler, and Ricky Gervais as well as Ginnifer Goodwin and "The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons.

As for the nominees, FX' s "American Horror Story" and AMC' s "Mad Men" topped the list with 17 nominations each.

Nipping at their heels is PBS' "Downton Abbey" and History's "Hatfields & McCoys" with 16 apiece. Shortly behind them is Emmy favorite, ABC's " Modern Family."
