Nikki Reed's fiance Paul McDonald has joked their wedding will have a ''whole lot of beer''.

The 'Twilight' actress is busily planning her wedding to former 'American Idol' contestant Paul McDonald and although she loved the "beautiful" nuptials between characters Edward and Bella - played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart - in her new movie 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1', she is planning a more casual affair.

Nikki explained to People: "They had a beautiful wedding, but Paul and I aren't Edward and Bella, at all."

Paul joked: "I think we're going to do a whole lot of beer, some keg beers. We might go with some High Life and PBR, you know, keep it classy."

Nikki - who plays Rosalie Hale in the vampire movie franchise - has previously revealed her fiance is "taking control" of their wedding plans since they announced their engagement in June after a whirlwind romance.

She said: "He's doing a lot of it, he is. He's, like, taking control. He sits with his computer in between songs and is kind of on a roll with everything.

"I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him."
