Actress Rose Mcgowan has signed on to play a hometown sheriff in a new mystery movie.

The Conan The Barbarian villainness will play a good girl cop, fresh from three tours of duty in Afghanistan in director Michael Kerr's Napa, according to Variety.

The film is an adaptation of Hans Ostrom's novel Three to Get Ready.
