Whitney Houston 'Threatened With Flight Removal'


A flight crew reportedly threatened to kick Whitney Houston off a plane in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday (12Oct11) after she refused to buckle her seat belt.

The superstar singer is said to have boarded a flight to Detroit, Michigan, but became irate when members of the cabin crew insisted she buckle up for take-off.

Houston allegedly refused and staff threatened to have her removed unless she complied with their request, according to Tmz.com.

The website reports the star, who has suffered addiction issues in the past, eventually agreed and the plane was cleared for take-off, with a source saying, "(Houston) overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight but she is still 100 per cent sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie."
