Doing her best to numb the still very present pain of losing her grandma, Rihanna headed out to sea with a few friends while cruising the Caribbean waters off the coast of Barbados on Thursday (July 12).

The "We Found Love" songstress showed off her fit figure as she did a little tubing before hopping back aboard the water vessel and cracking open a cold one.

Also posting a Twitter pic of herself sipping a brew, RiRi captioned the shot with a message reading: "I had to!!! Sorry granny."

The 24-year-old offered up another tweet directed at her late grandmother during the course of the day, as she warmly penned, "#grangranDOLLY‬ I know you smiling down on me brightly, I could feel it in the sunshine ‪#1Love‬ forever."

The island grieving period comes as Rihanna wound up near the top of Forbes' just-released list of 'Highest Paid Stars Under 30'.

Put together with earnings garnered between May 2011 and May 2012, the Barbadian beauty raked in $53 million en route to a third place finish - as she was beaten out only by Taylor Swift's top spot nabbing $57 million and runner-up Justin Bieber's $55 million. Not too shabby!
